Twin brother and sister drowned in a pond at their maternal grandparent's house

Eight-year-old twins, Tanisha and Raihan, died after drowning in a pond while playing at their maternal grandparent's house in Chashimuddin village, Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj on September 27, 2026. The children were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
