Assault on medical officer at Araihazar Upazila Health Complex

On July 5, 2026, BNP activists led by the Upazila BNP President assaulted a medical officer at the Araihazar Upazila Health Complex, causing severe injuries. The resulting disruption of medical services caused panic among patients, leading to the death of a motorcycle accident victim, Faruk Hossain, while he was being transported elsewhere for treatment.
