15,712 killed in motorcycle accidents over 6.5 years

A report by the Road Safety Foundation indicates that 15,712 people died and 14,143 were injured in 16,065 motorcycle accidents across Bangladesh between 2020 and July 2026. The report identifies recklessness among youth, lack of law enforcement, and collisions with heavy vehicles as primary drivers of these incidents.
