At least 20 people injured by a rabid fox in Kuarchala, Kaliakair, Gazipur

On the night of June 22, 2026, a rabid fox entered the Kuarchala Barek Market area in Kaliakair, Gazipur, attacking and injuring at least 20 people, including women and children. The victims were transported to local hospitals and clinics for treatment, where they also received rabies vaccinations.
