MV Manik-4 launch capsizes in Kirtankhola River

The passenger launch MV Manik-4, which arrived from Sirajdikhan, Munshiganj for the Charmonai Mahfil, capsized in the Kirtankhola River on Wednesday afternoon. The vessel became stuck on the riverbank during low tide and subsequently tipped over, but no casualties were reported as all passengers were already at the Mahfil grounds. Rescue operations are currently being conducted by the Fire Service and BIWTA.
