Formation of Metro Rail Safety Committee Following Accident

Following a metro rail accident on October 26, 2025, Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) has formed a 9-member committee to implement 28 safety recommendations mandated by the High Court. This committee will oversee structural integrity and operational safety improvements for the MRT Line-6 project as part of court-ordered safety audits.
