Gas line explosion in Kanchpur, Sonargaon, Narayanganj results in two deaths and two critical injuries
A gas compressor line explosion at a residential building (Shah Alam Miah's house) in Kanchpur Sonapur Uttarpara, Sonargaon, Narayanganj, occurred in the early hours of October 11, 2026. Four individuals suffered severe burns; two of them, Sharif Hossain and his wife Rozina Akter, later succumbed to their injuries at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, while two others remain in critical condition.
