Child killed in covered van accident while returning from vacation, buried without injured father present

An 8-year-old child was killed and his father, a bank official, was critically injured when a covered van hit their auto-rickshaw on the Chattogram-Cox's Bazar highway in Lohagara, Chattogram, on Wednesday afternoon. Police have seized the covered van, though the driver remains at large, and the child's burial was conducted in the absence of his hospitalized father.
