Electrician dies from electrocution in Narail

An electrician named Rojibul Islam (30) died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on July 21, 2026, after suffering a severe electric shock on July 18 while working at a residential building in Bhawakhali village, Narail. His colleague, Omar Faruq, was also injured in the incident, which occurred due to the building's unsafe proximity to a 33kV high-voltage power line.
