On the day of Eid-ul-Adha, 115 people were injured in the capital while performing animal sacrifices and processing meat. Injuries were caused by cattle-related incidents such as kicks and gore, as well as accidents with sharp tools like knives and meat choppers. All patients were treated at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital emergency department; 20 critical cases required specialized orthopaedic care, and two individuals were admitted for severe wounds.
