Bridge collapse and ongoing suffering in Kulaura

Five years ago, a concrete bridge over the Fanai River on the Palgram-Mukundapur road in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, collapsed due to floods. Residents of 30 villages currently rely on a makeshift bamboo bridge, which also floods during the monsoon, causing severe disruptions to daily life, education, and transport.
