Research Findings: 82% of Measles-related Child Deaths Linked to Lack of Breastfeeding

A joint research study by the Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute and ICDDR,B analyzed 354 hospitalized children with measles. Findings indicate that 82% of children who died from measles lacked exclusive breastfeeding in their first six months, while 65% of hospitalized children suffered from malnutrition.
