Boiler explosion at a rice mill in Naogaon kills one worker and injures four

On the morning of October 7, 2026, a boiler explosion occurred at the Haji Isarat Ali Rice Mill in Hapania, Naogaon Sadar. The incident resulted in the death of one worker, identified as 45-year-old Abdul Khaleq, and left four other workers injured. The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Naogaon 250-bed General Hospital. The mill owner has fled the scene following the accident.
