BSTI orders withdrawal of 10 food products for quality standard failures

The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) has ordered the immediate withdrawal of 10 food products from the market, including spices from Bombay Sweets and various brands of ghee and butter oil, after they failed to meet mandatory laboratory quality standards. BSTI has also issued show-cause notices to the manufacturers regarding the potential cancellation of their licenses and has advised consumers to avoid these substandard products.
