36 students hospitalized after consuming school feeding milk in Debiganj, Panchagarh

On October 5, 2026, 36 students at Kazipara Government Primary School in Debiganj, Panchagarh, fell ill with stomach and headaches after consuming milk provided under the government school feeding program. They were hospitalized for treatment at the local Upazila Health Complex and were discharged by the same night. An investigation into the supplying company, Rangpur Dairy & Food Products Ltd., and the incident has been initiated.
