A 10-year-old fifth-grade student, Ayesha Jahan Namira, drowned in the Dakatia River in the West Sekdi area of Chandpur Sadar on Tuesday morning. Locals recovered her body and transported her to Chandpur General Hospital, where she was declared dead.
