Rural road collapse in Islampur, Jamalpur due to heavy rain

Continuous heavy rainfall has caused the collapse of sections of the North Sirajabad–Dewanganj–Islampur road in Islampur Upazila, Jamalpur. The damage has severely disrupted transport for thousands of residents, impacting trade, education, and access to healthcare. Local engineering authorities have initiated temporary repairs using sandbags and drum sheets to maintain basic mobility.
