Doctor abandons patient mid-surgery at Apollo Clinic

A doctor abandoned a patient, Muslima Khatun, during a tumor removal surgery at Apollo Clinic and Diagnostic Center in Chuadanga, putting her life at risk. The clinic was found to be operating with significant irregularities, including the lack of an anesthesiologist. A mobile court operation was conducted, resulting in a 1 lakh BDT fine and the closure of the facility.
