Seven boats capsized and other vessels damaged in sudden storm at Ramna port

On the afternoon of June 2, 2026, a sudden storm and high waves caused seven boats to capsize at Ramna port in Chilmari, Kurigram. Several other boats and a speedboat were also damaged, resulting in the loss of 50 bags of urea fertilizer and various other goods. No human casualties were reported.
