Flash flood threat in Sylhet and Sunamganj and ongoing flooding in Habiganj and Moulvibazar

Heavy rainfall and hill slopes from India have led to flash floods in Habiganj and Moulvibazar. The Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) has warned that Sylhet and Sunamganj are at high risk of flooding within the next 24 to 72 hours as water levels in rivers like Surma, Kushiyara, and Manu continue to rise.
