Trauma Center in Shibchar Remains Inoperational Three Years After Opening

A 12-crore BDT trauma center built along the Dhaka-Bhanga expressway to provide emergency medical services to accident victims has remained non-operational since its inauguration in November 2022 due to a lack of staff and management. The facility has become a site for theft, vandalism, and illicit activities, failing to provide life-saving care to victims on an accident-prone highway.
