The 50-bed Kachua Upazila Health Complex in Bagerhat, despite being officially declared an abandoned and risky structure due to severe cracks and structural degradation, remains operational. Patients, staff, and doctors are exposed to danger from falling debris and structural issues, while essential healthcare services like surgeries, pathology, and radiology are severely hampered by this condition as well as a critical shortage of physicians and equipment.
