A 20-bed field ward has been set up with the assistance of the Bangladesh Army at Dhaka Medical College Hospital to manage children affected by measles. The ward is currently awaiting official authorization to begin operations, with staff and medical supplies in place. New measles cases arriving at the hospital are being redirected to other specialized facilities, while children already admitted for other conditions are treated in isolation if they contract measles.
