WHO and UNICEF to Review Vaccination Program Amid Measles Outbreak

Amid a measles outbreak, WHO and UNICEF, along with other development partners, are set to conduct a field-level review of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and vaccine-preventable disease surveillance in Bangladesh. The review will take place from October 6 to 11, 2026, across all eight divisions to identify gaps and challenges in the national vaccination and monitoring system.
