A fatal head-on collision between a truck/covered van and a motorcycle occurred on the Navaron-Satkhira highway in the Gilapole area of Sharsha, Jashore, on the morning of May 11, 2026. Two individuals, Shahin Hossain (35) and Tofazzal Hossain (45), died at the scene, and one other person was injured. The accident occurred while they were heading to Navaron market. Police recovered the bodies and seized the truck after the driver and assistant fled.
