Trafficking of Bangladeshi Citizens to Cambodian Cyber Scam Compounds
Hundreds of Bangladeshi youths were trafficked to Cambodia, Myanmar, and Vietnam under the pretext of lucrative jobs. Once there, they were held in cyber scam compounds, subjected to physical and psychological torture, and forced to defraud people online. Many victims remain in debt and are currently hiding due to threats from traffickers.
