Child dies from measles symptoms in Sylhet

An infant has died at Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital in Sylhet while being treated for measles symptoms, bringing the total death toll from measles or related symptoms in the division to 79. As of Friday morning, 262 patients are currently hospitalized, with 62 new admissions reported in the last 24 hours. A total of 377 lab-confirmed cases have been recorded in the division since the start of the year.
