Waterlogging in Halishahar, Chittagong and Subsequent Relief Efforts

Prolonged heavy rainfall caused severe waterlogging in Halishahar, Chittagong, affecting neighborhoods including Baranighat Galichipa Para, Phul Chowdhury Para, Sundabi Para, and Godown Bazar North Gate. Relief efforts were conducted by community leaders and government officials, including the Disaster Management and Relief Minister, who visited the area on July 15, 2026, to oversee relief distribution and announce future drainage improvements.
