A flash flood in Medir Haor, Nasirnagar, Brahmanbaria, caused significant agricultural destruction, submerging 305 hectares of Boro paddy land. An estimated 2,500 farmers were affected, with economic losses reaching 13 crore BDT. Tragically, a 55-year-old farmer, Ahad Mia, died from shock following the loss of his crops. Agriculture Minister Mohammad Aminur Rashid visited the site to oversee initial relief assistance.
