5 New Zealand tourists attacked by criminals in Cox's Bazar

Five New Zealand tourists were attacked and robbed by criminals while staying on a wooden boat at Sonadia Island, Maheshkhali, Cox's Bazar on the night of April 8, 2026. The Bangladesh Coast Guard successfully rescued the tourists and recovered their stolen belongings.
