Severe waterlogging in Kaliakair, Gazipur affects thousands of families

Heavy rainfall and poor drainage systems have caused severe waterlogging in Kaliakair, Gazipur. Approximately 5,000 families are stranded across several areas, including Haratikitala, East Chandana, East Chandra, and Bishwaspara, with water levels reaching knee-to-waist depth. The disruption to daily life, homes, and businesses has persisted for over three to four days.
