Night coach from Barishal to Sylhet plunges into ditch in Bhanga, Faridpur, 25 injured

A Sagarika Paribahan bus traveling from Barishal to Sylhet lost control due to heavy rain and fell into a roadside ditch in the Bablatala area of Bhanga, Faridpur, on the night of August 6, 2026. At least 25 passengers and crew members, including the driver and helper, were injured and subsequently hospitalized, with five critically injured victims transferred to Faridpur Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
