Mother and son electrocuted at home in Chatkhil, Noakhali

A 35-year-old woman, Anjana Rani Ghosh, and her eight-year-old son, Rahul Chandra Ghosh, died from electrocution at their home in Munshur Member's house, Chayani Tobga village, Ward 9 of Chatkhil Municipality, Noakhali, on Friday, June 19, 2026. The incident occurred when the boy touched an exposed wire of a faulty pond water irrigation pump motor, and his mother was electrocuted while trying to save him.
