Bridge collapses into the Padma River in Faridpur

A 40-meter-long, 8 crore BDT bridge in Kabipur village, Faridpur Sadar, collapsed into the Padma River due to severe erosion on Saturday afternoon. The incident resulted in the displacement of 250 families and the loss of 825 acres of farmland, while cutting off essential transport for approximately 2,000 people.
