Students compelled to swim across the Rupeshwari River to attend school

Over one hundred students from Lakshmipur and Sripur villages in Madhya Nagar, Sunamganj, face a daily life-threatening ordeal by swimming across the Rupeshwari River to reach Ghilagara Government Primary School. The lack of a bridge or safe crossing, exacerbated by flash floods, poses a constant risk of drowning for students and local residents.
