Attack on Hospital Emergency Department in Dirai

On the evening of October 16, 2026, an individual previously injured in a village clash was attacked again by assailants inside the Dirai Upazila Health Complex emergency department. The attackers vandalized critical medical equipment, including an ECG machine and hospital furniture, causing panic among patients and staff.
