Ashrayan housing units buried under river dredging waste in Dumuria, Khulna: ASK expresses concern

River dredging waste from the Buribhadra and Upper Bhadra river excavation projects has been dumped on Ashrayan housing projects in Chuknagar, Kathaltala, and Baratia of Dumuria, Khulna. This has caused structural damage to over 100 housing units, displacing numerous families, damaging sanitation and water facilities, and creating landslide hazards during the monsoon season. The Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) has called for an investigation and urgent rehabilitation.
