Fisherman Mohammad Milon dies after being swept away in Meghna River, Noakhali

A 52-year-old fisherman named Mohammad Milon drowned in the Meghna River near Munsi village, Ward 9, Nijhum Dwip Union, Hatiya, Noakhali, on July 6, 2026. He was swept away by strong currents while setting a net in the afternoon. After a three-hour search, his body was recovered in the evening.
